ELEVATE – Empowering Youth and Increasing Youth Employability
Young people across Sub-Saharan Africa and Europe face significant challenges in accessing employment opportunities, developing relevant skills and successfully transitioning into the labour market. ELEVATE – Empowering Youth and Increasing Youth Employability is an Erasmus+ Capacity Building in the Field of Youth project that aims to address these challenges by strengthening the capacities of youth workers and youth organizations and equipping young people with the knowledge, skills and competencies needed for personal and professional success.
The project brings together partner organizations from Serbia, Austria, Italy, Kenya and Uganda to promote international cooperation, exchange of good practices and development of innovative non-formal education programmes. Through international trainings, local multiplier events, publications and networking activities, ELEVATE focuses on entrepreneurship, personal competencies, digital employment opportunities and youth empowerment.
By investing in youth workers as multipliers of knowledge and change, the project contributes to creating sustainable opportunities for young people, particularly those facing social, economic or geographical barriers. ELEVATE promotes inclusion, active participation, entrepreneurship and lifelong learning while supporting young people in becoming more confident, skilled and prepared for the opportunities and challenges of the modern labour market.
